Faculty A majority of the faculty members of KPU have received their academic and professional training in Traditional Oriental Medicine both in East Asia and in the United States. Many of them are also bilingual as well as bicultural, a background extremely helpful in transmitting three-millennia-old healing arts that originated in East Asia to the students in the United States. Whenever the acronym “D.O.” is used, it specifies the Doctor of Oriental Medicine Degree; (CH) indicates any graduate degree awarded in China and (KR) indicates one awarded in Korea.
